Trip down memory lane

where

the steady step staggers

nimble grace quakes

atrophied and sluggish

or simply

swept off in the wake

of time cut clean

through the water’s face

the seasick bobbing

up and down and up again

makes meek

the flotsam body

blissfully borne by current currents
